For the Birds by Lenna

This locally made birdhouse is crafted using reclaimed wood from various sources such as construction sites, broken furniture, pallets and driftwood.  All inside surfaces have been sanded and are free of varnishes, paints or other chemical in the nesting areas.  The birdhouse has the following features:

Opening for easy annual cleanout
Plenty of cross ventilation
Grooves to help fledglings climb to the opening
Perchless to deter undesirable species such as invasive sparrows
Metal around the opening to prevent predators from enlarging the hole.

Each birdhouse is approximately 8"w x 12"h.
